Our Pastor
John Fickett was born and raised in Los Alamos, New Mexico. His wife, Toni, was born in Texas and raised in Oklahoma. John holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics and Physics from Oral Roberts University and a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He was ordained in 1982.
The Ficketts ministered in Oklahoma, Massachusetts, New Mexico and Pennsylvania before coming to New Vision. John has been the speaker at various seminars, often with Toni, and has spoken on the topics of marriage, raising children, guy/girl relationships and dating, building Scripture into life, evangelism and missions, and prayer. John's teaching style is creative, practical, and challenging. John also serves on the Brethren in Christ Board for World Missions.
John and Toni have been married for 30 years. They have seven sons: Micah (26), Nathanael (25), Gabriel (22), Judah (21), Seth (18), Asher (16), and Baruch (13).
