Short-term Missions
One way we try to knit the hearts of our congregation to missions (international and domestic) is through short-term trips. Every year we offer both a week long "Work and Learn" project and a week long evangelism trip. Past "Work and Learn" trips include:
- Navajo Mission work project- Dec. 1995
- Build housing in Venezuela - Jan. 1997
- Puerto Rico disaster relief - early 1999
- Work project at the Theological College of Zimbabwe - early 2000
- Construct missions office in Nicaragua - early 2001
- Construct our own facility - 2002
- Finish church basement in Madrid, Spain - Nov. 2003
- Florida hurricane disaster relief - Dec. 2004
- Refugee center repairs, English lessons, meals for refugees, and street evangelism in Athens, Greece - Mar. 2006
- Periodic evangelism trips to New Orleans during Mardi Gras
- In 2005 we began annual youth mission trips.
- Prayer trip to Madrid, Spain - Oct. 2008
