Youth Programming
New Vision's Youth Group is comprised of junior and senior high students whose goal is to grow spiritually. Current youth group activities include regular youth group meetings, community outreach and service projects, Bible quizzing, and summer mission trips.
Mission Statement
To reach teens and show them Jesus through His love and by these actions:
- To live our lives in a way that will make other people want to know what we have that they don't.
- To show other kids that Christians can have fun and don't live a boxed-up lifestyle.
- To have fun serving the Lord and be with a group of people that support each other.
Youth Group Meetings
The youth group meets at New Vision from 6:00 - 9:30 p.m. on the first Friday of each month. The group shares a potluck dinner, contemporary worship, a youth-led devotional, and games.Community Outreach Programs
New Vision's Youth Group is involved in the following community outreach programs which challenge and encourage the youth to reach beyond their own interests to serve others.- Joy House Outreach - The youth group meets from 6:00 - 9:30 p.m. on the second Friday of each month to assist with programs at this Milwaukee area shelter for women.
- Linden Grove Outreach - The youth group visits Linden Grove Nursing Home on the fourth Saturday of each month from 1:45 - 5:00 p.m. Visits include sharing in games and fellowship with senior adults.
Summer Mission Trips
Since 2005, New Vision's youth have had the opportunity to be involved in summer mission trips working in various communities with Group WorkCamps Foundation.
